I honestly did not think anyone would have came out so soon but Tommy returned my call instantly and came out the same day. We are so happy to have found Nygaard! He came on a Saturday and found that a town wide power surge caused the air to slowdown. The AC corrected itself and he charged us for a service charge and did not try to tell us he fixed something in order to charge us more. He has since been back and we will have him back again.

Nygaard came to tune up my A/C unit in preparation for the summer months. Very professional and showed up on time (with none of that 5-hour window BS I might add). Knowledgeable and professional throughout the appointment. This is my first home, so I tend to ask about a lot and he replied to all of my questions, comments, and concerns both before and during the appointment with a very friendly manner. 10/10 would recommend and will be using his services in the future! BONUS: He actually fixed my front door jamb too! Not technically a part of his business, but it was busted and he really helped me out big time!

Highly recommend Tommy Nygaard and Nygaard Heating and Air Conditioning. My furnace stopped working. I filled out the online form late in the evening requesting service. I was immediately contacted back by Tommy and a service call was scheduled for the following day. Tommy presented all my options for repair vs replacement of my 31 year old unit. I opted for replacement and Tommy scheduled for the following day. Tommy and his staff were efficient and polite during the entire process. Because Tommy was so genuine in his approach, I did not feel the need to obtain additional quotes. Very satisfied customer.

It was the middle of summer, and our 16-year-old HVAC had been limping along for a couple of years. The last service call involved replacing several parts and it still had issues. Tommy's skills as a diagnostician were put to task. He was available at all times by phone and in person trying to help us save our old model. In the end a new system was needed. I have never received better customer service for any household problem than I got from Tommy and his team.

Mr. Nygaard was very professional/efficient as he responded within a day. He explained the process fully for a new system and adding a room that heretofore was on a room air/heat. Two other companies that I contacted; one said it could not be done and the other recommended a split system. All the work was done in one day on time. My Nygaard offered a $1000 discount for a cash transaction. The new system is thus far more efficient and quiet. Mr. Nygaard I would highly recommend. We bought our house new in 2016 and have yet to have our A/C unit inspected/serviced. We heard about Nygaard Heating and Air and thought we’d give them a call and have them come take a look. We scheduled an appointment (same day) and Mr Nygaard arrived right on schedule, was very professional and informative. He serviced our a/c unit (full inspection and clean) in a timely manner. Our unit went out Feb 8 and they were here Saturday Feb 11 and had the old one out and new one in-in 4 hours! We purchased units in July for both our air and heat. We were very happy with the installation, professionalism, and customer service. Today (7 months later)our downstairs heater wasn't working. The casing was cracked and it was leaking carbon monoxide, so he shut the unit down. this was all done by 10:30am. By then it was 52 degrees in the living room. At 3:30 that afternoon the crew showed up along with Tommy. they went right to work removing the 66 year old furnace and installing the new Rheem furnace. And also installed a new digital thermostat. The temp was down to 44 degrees in the living room by 8pm the new furnace kicked on at 8:05pm and the new unit was blowing hot air on the side of my face. They worked with me on the financing and all of them were friendly, professional and courteous. I recommend Nygaard 100%. I am 78 years old and just can't do the things I used to do. But thanks to Tommy Nygaard and his crew. Me and my dog Pete did not die in our sleep from carbon monoxide poisoning and we are now warm and toasty. And I might add for a very reasonable price for a 50,000 btu Rheem heating unit. FYI the high that day was 18 degrees and the low was 10 degrees. When the new unit kicked on at 8:05pm it was 14 degrees and falling. God Bless everyone who reads this review!

I cannot say enough about the level of service we received! Our air was not working. I called Tommy and he was able to come out that same day (on a Sunday!) We thought we had it fixed, but it started doing the same thing the next day. Tommy came out that day. He replaced a couple of parts that could have led to the problem. We still had problems. He came out and found the culprit. He did not charge us because he had already been out a couple times and wanted to make it right. He even came back another day to redo some piping that he didn’t like the look of! Our air is working better than ever now! The fact that he wants to make it right instead of making a quick buck is hard to find these days. He will always be our go-to AC guy.

We have had many repairs done in the 37 years we have lived here. Most of them were not satisfactory. I had two brand new complete HVAC units installed by Tommy in January. After getting many estimates over the last few months Tommy came in with a great estimate that was the same or lower than the others. But the cost was not why I chose Tommy; it was his personality. When I met him I could tell right away he was an honest and reasonable person. Call it intuition. He explained everything I needed to know about getting my two units installed and patiently answered all of my questions. After meeting with other HVAC professionals and then meeting Tommy I knew for sure he was the guy to do business with. He and his crew completely installed both units in about 6 hours. That includes the blower/heater units upstairs in the attic and the two units outside. He serviced both with Freon but told me he would have to come back when it was warmer to finish the freon charge so that it was serviced correctly. He came back about two weeks ago and finished the service. Then last week he called and told me that when he serviced the freon his tooling was out of calibration and he wants to come out again and double check the freon charge. I was impressed because of this. Any other HVAC Tech could of not even called me and told me that, but he did! All transactions with him went smoothly from the estimate to the install and after the install. I feel he is there "for me" if anything else was to happen to my units. After being given a laughable quote for repairs from another local company, we called Nygaard HVAC and Tom came out that same evening and was honest, kind, knowledgeable, and fair. He made the entire process so easy and answered every question we had. Not only was Tom a pleasure to work with, but his crew (I regret not getting their names) only mirrored the same feeling we got from out first meeting with Tom. They completed the work in the timespan we were given, even under in part of it and were so respectful. While they were here, a family member even had a flat tire and they helped her with changing it and finding her a new one. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to cover it with this company.

We purchased units in July for both our air and heat. We were very happy with the installation, professionalism, and customer service. Today (7 months later)our downstairs heater wasn't working.
