Tommy Nygaard is truly an angel. He came to our rescue tonight! Our heater had unexpectedly stopped working in the middle of this cold snowy weather we've been having. I honestly did not think anyone would have came out so soon but Tommy returned my call instantly and came out the same day. He was very professional, listened to my concerns, and let us know he was on the way. He followed all of the Covid-19 guidelines and wore a mask. He quickly figured out the problem and gave us a quote. He had our heater working again in no time. I am so glad I gave him a call and I would recommend him to anyone. I am truly thankful he fixed our heater. I hope I won't need him again anytime soon but for anyone needing their heat or air conditioning serviced please give Tommy a call! You will not regret it!

My wife happened to be home last week when the temperature in the house started rising. She called Nygaard Heating & Air and Tommy came out right away. He found the outside unit was no longer operable/fixable. We went ahead and ordered an HVAC system as the furnace was pretty dated, too. They were able to install the system the next afternoon/evening and we had cool air by bedtime! Great company & great service!

We purchased units in July for both our air and heat. We were very happy with the installation, professionalism, and customer service. Today (7 months later)our downstairs heater wasn't working. I called and immediately got a response and the problem fixed. Our problem had nothing to do with the units installed but was a power surge issue at our home. However, they still fixed the issue and even followed up to make sure everything was up and running hours later (on a COLD Saturday). Thank you Nygaard Heating and Air!

We bought our house new in 2016 and have yet to have our A/C unit inspected/serviced. We heard about Nygaard Heating and Air and thought we’d give them a call and have them come take a look. We scheduled an appointment (same day) and Mr Nygaard arrived right on schedule, was very professional and informative. He serviced our a/c unit (full inspection and clean) in a timely manner. We definitely notice our unit running cooler and are ready for the hot summer. I’d like to add they give a military discount! Highly recommend this company for your cooling and heating needs. Nygaard came to tune up my A/C unit in preparation for the summer months. Very professional and showed up on time (with none of that 5-hour window BS I might add). I was in a bit of a pickle when I finally figured out why water spots were on my coffee table...water was coming through my fan in the living room from my AC unit in the attic. I recently moved here and hopped on FB to get a recommendation. I loved the fact that Tommy was a veteran and had great reviews. I called him and he was immediately responsive. I even had to ask him to please come when I wasn't there because I was in a leadership summit but knew I needed immediate assistance. Tommy is the best! A very honest guy who charges a fair price. We had some of the "big" HVAC companies come out to assess our broken AC unit and quote us on the needed replacement. They were higher in price, less professional, and completely unsympathetic to the face that they were telling us we needed an over $12k replacement. Tommy was understanding and kind and helped us get by until we could get our financing in order. Tommy never tried to upsell us on anything that wasn't needed. We have had many repairs done in the 37 years we have lived here. Most of them were not satisfactory. When our air conditioner stopped functioning we were assigned a company that told us we needed a new unit. Then they turned around and said that it could be fixed. So we called Nygaard Heating and Air Conditioning. Tommy came out within a couple hours to check the unit. It needed to be replaced because of its age, and Tommy gave us a good price with guaranteed work. I cannot say enough about the level of service we received! Our air was not working. I called Tommy and he was able to come out that same day (on a Sunday!) We thought we had it fixed, but it started doing the same thing the next day. Tommy came out that day. He replaced a couple of parts that could have led to the problem. We still had problems. He came out and found the culprit. He did not charge us because he had already been out a couple times and wanted to make it right. He even came back another day to redo some piping that he didn’t like the look of! Our air is working better than ever now! The fact that he wants to make it right instead of making a quick buck is hard to find these days. He will always be our go-to AC guy.

He kept up with my estimate and checked with me periodically letting me know about industry changes. The system finally had a failure to a main component and when called, Tommy checked it that afternoon. I decided it was probably time to replace the system and Nygaard had me back is service in less than a week from initial call and in about a half day from when they started replacing the system. The total cost was more than competitive and the service was top quality. I have referred a number of friends to Nygaard and and would not hesitate to refer them to anyone needing HVAC work.

We are so happy to have found Nygaard! He came on a Saturday and found that a town wide power surge caused the air to slowdown. The AC corrected itself and he charged us for a service charge and did not try to tell us he fixed something in order to charge us more. He has since been back and we will have him back again.

Tommy has been amazing! He was able to come out same day, assess our air- determine we had a leak and even followed up and came back to find the leak. This helped us look at all options. We had a new system put in yesterday, 6/27/2025 and of course went with Tommy! The men who showed up were kind, friendly, and consistent. We have littles that wanted to talk, and not a single one of these workers ignored our 4 and 7 year old! They all listened and answered questions all while staying focused on the job. Our unit went out Feb 8 and they were here Saturday Feb 11 and had the old one out and new one in-in 4 hours! The house had cooled down considerably since Monday and is now at a great 70degree temperature. It was 52 inside when they arrived. They were courteous and kept it pretty clean as they worked. I had two brand new complete HVAC units installed by Tommy in January. After getting many estimates over the last few months Tommy came in with a great estimate that was the same or lower than the others. But the cost was not why I chose Tommy; it was his personality. When I met him I could tell right away he was an honest and reasonable person. Call it intuition. He explained everything I needed to know about getting my two units installed and patiently answered all of my questions. After meeting with other HVAC professionals and then meeting Tommy I knew for sure he was the guy to do business with. He and his crew completely installed both units in about 6 hours. That includes the blower/heater units upstairs in the attic and the two units outside. He serviced both with Freon but told me he would have to come back when it was warmer to finish the freon charge so that it was serviced correctly. He came back about two weeks ago and finished the service. Then last week he called and told me that when he serviced the freon his tooling was out of calibration and he wants to come out again and double check the freon charge. I was impressed because of this. Any other HVAC Tech could of not even called me and told me that, but he did! All transactions with him went smoothly from the estimate to the install and after the install. I feel he is there "for me" if anything else was to happen to my units. I HIGHLY recommend Tommy Nygaard for all of your HVAC needs! Give him a call.

Tommy Nygaard is truly an angel. He came to our rescue tonight! Our heater had unexpectedly stopped working in the middle of this cold snowy weather we've been having. I honestly did not think anyone would have came out so soon but Tommy returned my call instantly and came out the same day. We purchased units in July for both our air and heat. We were very happy with the installation, professionalism, and customer service. Today (7 months later)our downstairs heater wasn't working. I called and immediately got a response and the problem fixed. Our problem had nothing to do with the units installed but was a power surge issue at our home.
